So what exactly is this evil cellulite that so many of us suffer from? Simply put its small amounts of fat that become trapped in pockets just below the skins surface. Because the fat is close to the surface, it creates the icky cottage cheese appearance we all love so much. Thankfully there is an entire market developing around a new product, the Cellulite Reducer. The answer for the last couple of decades to Cellulite has been liposuction. Simply put they suck the fat out of you, but since it is a medical procedure there are risks associated with it. Risks associated with Liposuction are:Scars, swelling, infections, contour irregularities, and loose skin just to name a few.Combine the medical risks associated with the expense of liposuction and it shouldnt be a hard decision to give a good cellulite reducer a try before going under the knife. Its a safer alternative and a lot less costly. So how does a cellulite reducer work? If its not pulling the fat out of the problem areas how does it act on them from the outside?First thing is there are some pill-based products that you can take as a cellulite reducer. Its not really the best way to cure cellulite because blood doesnt run well in the areas where cellulite exists. With low blood flow, its difficult to get the active ingredients to the area to reduce the cellulite. However you may think thats its just as difficult to solve the cellulite problem from the outside in.Not true, many cellulite reducers that are cream based products are applied to the affected area once or twice a day but they use active ingredients to actually shrink the fat below the skin. By shrinking the fat cells skin becomes more toned, and moisturized in the process. It makes more sense to give a cellulite reducer a try. Of course the products do work. Most companies have many testimonials on their site about successful clients, but these products also have no medical risks and will not hurt your pocket book as much. In as little as 2 weeks some products will show an improvement, but you do need to be committed to the system.Remember nothing happens over night, you need to follow the product instructions, and ensure you give the cellulite reducer time to do its job. Many products offer a free trial, or money back guarantee you should take advantage of this to test out the different products on the market, and if youre not satisfied with them get your money back. Its a competitive market out there, and there are many cellulite reducers to choose from, they all want your business so educate yourself, get out there and get rid of cellulite!
What's in Lipstick?Recently, I figured out that if I applied lipstick that my face would grow to two times its regular size. If I wiped off the lipstick, I could get my head back almost into its regular shape. I didn't have a lot of time to figure out what was in lipstick but I put it down to fragrance and some of the others on the ingredient list. One day I was so tired of not wearing lipstick that I went to a drugstore to find out. I took my small daughter. Within a couple of minutes of being in the make-up aisle, my daughter started to have her head grow to twice its regular size and she didn't even have lipstick on. I went over to the counter and asked the girl, what was in lipstick and make-up to make both myself and my daughter have allergic reactions? I was still at that point considering that maybe a certain brand wouldn't have whatever the ingredient was in it.She smiled at me, started to show me the book of ingredients that nobody can truly read without a dictionary and then she looked from me to my daughter and finally said, "The shimmer in lipstick is from ground up fish and shellfish. It doesn't come out and say that on the lipstick ingredients."I nearly fainted. I couldn't believe that something that people have as an anaphalaxis type allergy is not marked on all of the make-up.Still, I perservered. "What kind doesn't have it in it?" I asked, assuming that one of the thirty brands would give me a break."None of them," she assured me. "It's not marked down anyway. There's a big word for it.""What about lip gloss?" I asked."No," she said. "Whale blubber. Sorry. Allergy medicine is in aisle five."So, off we went to go get some medicine and some fresh air. This news sent me realing. Why isn't this in the media? Why doesn't anyone know about what is in lipstick and lots of other kinds of make-up? I realized too that potentially all kinds of men and owmen do not know about the risks involved in simply freshening up their lips. I mention men because of the kissability factor.I went onto talk to friends and relatives. Did you know...? Nobody did. I only recently met someone who had an inkling of what I was talking about. Her dad worked in a lipstick factory all of his working career.Unless a make-up line specifically says that it does not have animal byproducts in it, then the shimmer is most likely caused by ground up fish and seafood. Not that they're apparently aiming to include the seafood but much like the tuna caught in a big net with other creatures of the sea, same problem. For those of you who have allergies, seek out cosmetic companies such as Mary Kaye who do have that guarantee. There are several other lines that will promise this no animal byproducts such as Body Shop. Remember that while you may not have this allergy yourself, your child could have this allergy, your husband, boyfriend or your co-workers.
There are so many different hairstyles for different people and different occasions. If you do an internet search online, you will find an amazing number of web sites and articles dedicated to that very topic. You can find everything from articles on wacky and wild hair styles, to specific and serious articles on what kind of style for what shaped face you have. The possibilities are nearly endless. One of the most common desires for people seeking information about hair styles is what to do when you have a long face. This is particularly an issue with some people who have really proportionately large foreheads. There are a lot of options for someone who has this particular problem. Someone with straight hair can create the appearance of more width by using bangs. Chin-length bobs and cuts can also be effective options because they also work well to create an effective illusion of width. Curls and waves also add width, but for general appearance sake it might be wise to avoid short layers that add volume on top. Bangs can make your face appear shorter because they cover up large foreheads. While these are all positive options, there are some styles that you will need to avoid. Any type of style that involves extremely long hair or extremely short hair will end up elongating your face, which you are looking to avoid in the first place. If a long face is not a problem, you may want to consider looking for a style that involves long, curly hair. There are very few looks that turn the head more than long, curly hair. If you are a girl with long curly hair, and you are having trouble with frizzing, one way to stop that is to not brush your curls. Take the time to use your fingers to break up curls, or you will continue to have the problems you are already facing. There are many magazines and e-zines dedicated specifically to these types of hair care topics. For each person, there is a different style. Find pictures, and try to imagine each look on you. Does it accentuate your best features? Does it hide the worst? Do you like it? That is the best and most important decision. If you like your hair, your attitude will show and it is attitude that attracts other peoples attention more than anything else. Remember that, and if you find a style that works in your eyes, it will work for everyone else, as well.

After all, your eyes are the window to your soul, and people connect with you through them! All eyes are beautiful, but sagging skin or abnormalities can detract from their beauty.A brow lift is a simple procedure that can make a dramatic difference in the entire look of your face. It can be one of the easiest ways to correct the facial problems that prevent you from putting your best face forward! What Can a Brow Lift Do For Me?* Do you have eyelid bags, excess or sagging tissue around the brow and upper eyelid that hangs down over the lower lid, making you look tired or sad? A brow lift can lift the sagging tissue, bring your eyes out of hiding, and make your eyes appear larger and more open.* If you have frown wrinkles between your eyes, a brow lift can eliminate them.* If you have an eyebrow deformity, a brow lift can correct it.* Do you wish your brows had more of an arch or a different shape? This can usually be accomplished with a brow lift.* If you wish your brows were better positioned on your face, a brow lift can create a more symmetrical and natural look. By lifting your brows upward, you will appear fresher and more energetic. What Happens in a Brow Lift Operation? You are given a general anesthetic so that you are asleep for the entire operation. Five incisions are required for a brow lift, but they are so tiny that your hair need not be trimmed. Three are placed on your scalp above your forehead hidden by your hair, and the other two are made within the hair next to your temples. The surgeon then lifts the tissue upward and repositions it based on your desired results. This procedure lifts any sagging skin and reduces wrinkles.Scars generally heal very well and are hidden by your hair. You may even shampoo the day after the operation. This procedure is called an endoscopic brow lift. Sometimes an endoscopic brow lift is performed along with eyelid correction surgery, which actually removes excess skin and fatty folds in the upper eyelid, creating a tiny scar in the upper eyelid that is hidden within the crease. What Can I Expect After the Operation?A brow lift is an outpatient procedure, so you can go home the same day. You will need someone to drive you home, however, as you might be sleepy from the anesthetic. For two to three days following the operation, you will have some swelling, and your forehead will feel tight. Your eyelids may be bruised for about two weeks, but this can usually be covered by makeup after five to seven days. Patients generally experience less bruising with an endoscopic brow lift than with eyelid correction surgery. For before and after photos go to http://www.drmillman.netYou may experience a mild headache for the first couple of days after the surgery, for which you will receive a prescription.Within two weeks of the procedure, your stitches will be removed, and you can return to work. This is because they will drop somewhat as the tissues relax during the first few weeks after surgery. CAUSES OF DANDRUFFAlthough the cause of dandruff is not completely understood, it is currently theorized that one of the main causes is a breakdown of the scalps natural lipid barrier, leaving it more exposed to infection by the microscopic yeast that is commonly found in the scalp. When the yeast overgrows, it leads to an inflammatory response that kills off scalp cells at a high rate, which in turn slough off in sticky patches and flakes. The condition is identified by: White or clear flakes on the scalp, through the hair, and on clothing. Itchy scalp which may be red and inflamed. Some young teens find they develop dandruff when they hit puberty because their hygiene habits haven’t changed to meet the challenges of newly accelerated sebum production.Stress, poor hygiene and poor diet can make the scalp more susceptible to dandruff. High sugar foods in particular are known to exacerbate yeast infections. The hair should be brushed regularly to loosen flakes and stimulate blood supply to the scalp, which will accelerate the natural immune response to infection.TREATING DANDRUFFThere are few habits you can develop and natural treatments you can use to treat dandruff. Nutrition: An excess of sugar in the diet can exacerbate any yeast infection. Try reducing your intake of all sugars and refined starches while treating for dandruff. This is why it’s important to wash your hair daily and to brush out any loose dandruff flakes – so that healthy areas of the scalp will not be infected.
